Conquas Achievement Celebration at Oakridge
The event celebrated Oakridge’s CONQUAS high score achievement of 83.9 points. Completed with CCC last year, the luxurious development was rated No. 1 in Malaysia for its superior workmanship by BCA Singapore (Building and Construction Authority Singapore) in 2014.
In collaboration with Public Bank, the celebration that was attended by 150 guests comprising the bank’s clients and residents of nearby neighbourhoods also saw the unveiling of the show house for the first time.
Guests also had the honour of viewing the mock up unit to see what a bare unit looks like. They were later treated to a buffet lunch while a live band serenaded.
Quality workmanship is important in today’s construction industry. The high quality achieved in building projects ensures future marketability and enhances the confidence of clients. The Construction Quality Assessment System (CONQUAS), introduced in Singapore since 1989, serves as a standard assessment system on the quality of building projects.
By using CONQUAS as a standardised method of quality assessment, developers are able to use the CONQUAS score to set targets for contractors to achieve and also assess the quality of finished building.
Today, CONQUAS is widely recognised and also accepted internationally as a benchmarking tool for quality.
